At Therapy with Shaurya, we understand that unforeseen circumstances may require you to reschedule or cancel a session. However, as therapy sessions involve reserved time slots and therapist availability, we have a strict 48-hour cancellation and rescheduling policy to ensure fairness for both clients and therapists.
1. Cancellation & Rescheduling Policy
- Cancellations or reschedules must be requested at least 48 hours before the scheduled session time.
- If you cancel or reschedule less than 48 hours before the session, the session fee will be forfeited, and no refunds, transfers, or rescheduling will be provided.
- Rescheduled sessions must also follow the 48-hour policy.
- Rescheduling is subject to the therapist’s availability.
- If your session is through a package, you are eligible for a reschedule ONLY (following the 48 hour policy). You are not eligible for a refund.
2. No-Show & Late Arrival Policy
- If you do not join the session within the first 15 minutes, the therapist will log off, and the session will be forfeited. No refunds, transfers, or rescheduling will be provided.
- The therapist is not responsible for sending reminders. You are responsible for remembering your session date and time.
- If you are late to a session, the session will still end at the originally scheduled time.
3. Therapist-Initiated Cancellations
- Therapists reserve the right to cancel or reschedule sessions at any time due to personal or professional reasons.
- If a therapist cancels a session, you will be offered a reschedule or a refund.
4. Non-Refundable & Non-Transferable Packages
- If you book a package with team therapists:
- 5-session package is valid for 2 months
- 10-session package is valid for 4 months
- These packages are non-refundable and non-transferable under any circumstances.
- The 48-hour rescheduling policy applies to all sessions, including rescheduled sessions.
5. Student Discount & Cancellation Policy
- The student discount is valid for a maximum of 10 sessions or 3 months, whichever comes first.
- Student discount sessions are subject to the same 48-hour cancellation & rescheduling policy.
- If a student cancels a session within less than 48 hours, the session will be forfeited, and no refund or rescheduling will be provided.
6. How to Cancel or Reschedule a Session
All cancellations and rescheduling requests must be made via email ONLY.
- Email hello@therapywithshaurya.com or your therapist directly with your cancellation or rescheduling request. Please ensure you email at least 48 hours prior to the session start time to reschedule or to request for a refund (in case of a cancellation) or reschedule. Else, your session is forfeited.
- If your session is through a package, you are eligible for a reschedule ONLY. You are not eligible for a refund.
- We usually respond within 24-72 hours.
7. Refund Policy
- No refunds will be issued for late cancellations, no-shows, or unused sessions.
- Refunds will only be issued if the therapist cancels the session and is unable to reschedule.
